Hulu Lag

Does anyone else have lag when watching hulu videos, the audio is fine, but the video is spotty, any settings or something I should change to fix this, I'm experimenting now with them, but any help would be appreciated.

Oh yeah. That is a common issue. Do search and you'll see many, many posts and comments on that issue. Hell, Hulu lags on my PC in a browser, but worse on Boxee via ATV or Windows version.

Thanks! The Hulu jerkiness is really the only complaint I have about Boxee...latest build is very smooth...

Only some shows have issues. Most are good.

My last post may have sounded negative, but boxee is great overall. The team is doing some great work on it and will get better over time.

Uuh-- am I to interpret your comment to mean that the boxee team has found a way to juice better performance out of flash on the ATV? It sounds like you might be hinting that there is a way to access the GPU or that the dev team is going to hack and streamline flash... Am I crazy or is that what you're alluding to? Could you even be that blunt if-- hypothetically speaking, of course-- that is what you were hinting at?

I'm sorry, maybe I'm over-interpreting this as no one else is clamoring for info here, but Marcel-- that's a major teaser of an announcement that you just casually dropped. Would you / could you elaborate?

Seriously, if this is about getting to the aTV gpu, that's HUGE. If not, I'd be into chipping in on a bounty to get to the aTV GPU via patchstick if such a thing is possible... I mean, there must be a way, it's just software... anybody? What?

Well they said they have been working on that GPU thing since the release of Netflix on Boxee as a way to get netflix on the ATV, probably even before that, so that's not exactly breaking news.
