Boxee performance - Movie menu browsing

Hi,

I have a few hundreds of movies indexed by Boxee, my issue is that each time I access the movie menu it takes quite a long time (around 30 seconds) before I can see the 18 movies covers (3 rows x 6 columns) display on my TV screen.

Furthermore, each time I want to display a new movie row it takes between 3 to 5 seconds before I can see it.

If I change the view mode for the one with movies listed by name and only one movie cover, is then quite fast.
The only problem is that Boxee is not keeping track of the last view mode you used. So each time you go to another menu (Music for instance) and come back after to the movie menu, you still have the 18 movies covers view mode and the 30 seconds to display it.

Does anyone face the same issue ?

PS. My movies are stored in an external HD connected to my ATV through ATV USB.

the issue with boxee not remembering it's view mode is a bug... it's been reported to the team.

I have the same problem, about 300 movies in the same directory and it takes about 30 seconds to show something.

It's pretty slow for me too. Seems slower than the last version.
