Not sure how much good it'll do, but there's a facebook page on this subject.

The more fans/"Likes" it gets, the more likely Netflix will listen. They are the only ones who can pressure M$ into licensing playready for linux use.

hi guys thanks for the information on Netflix .It has a feature that allows members to stream movies directly to their PCs. To accomplish this, they use Microsoft’s Silverlight technology.

Um... yes they use silverlight and have a drm stack that prevents movies from working on linux. Hence the title of the thread "netflix does not work on linux."

Be sure to join the Netflix March of the Penguins!! On Friday, August 20th, call Netflix and let them know that you want Watch Instantly on Linux. 1-866-716-0414.

Default Actually it does work on linux

The Roku and several TV's that stream Netflix are Linux based, so actually it does work on Linux already. I guess they have a non-DRM'd stream on devices like that?

I doubt it, DRM is the holy grail to media marketers. But all I know is moonlight can't stream it, and moonlight is currently all that is available to the public to stream silverlight streams.

Moonlight can't due to the DRM. I'm guessing Roku's and TV's are not using silver/moonlight anyhow. Just pointing out that it is possible to use Netflix and actually that it is actually being done in Linux right now.
