Waaaarrioooors, come out and plaaaa-eeee-aaaaay.

Watch The Hangover Part 3 Online You can get the Collector's Edition by paying $70 more. The CE contains everything in the Special Edition, along with a few more bonuses. An exclusive New Era 9FIFTY cap will let you show your pride for Los Santos and GTA V. You'll also get access to new vehicles in single-player, along with a garage to store them. Rockstar is also throwing in a bonus car and classic character skins for Grand Theft Auto Online, apparently the multiplayer component of the game. A GTA V-branded security deposit bag will help you secure valuables. Unless someone steals the bag itself, in which case you're screwed.

Watch Fast And Furious 6 Online Both limited edition bundles are now available for pre-order worldwide. Regardless of whether you pre-order the special, collector's, or standard edition, you'll unlock the Atomic Blimp for use in game. The role-playing tabletop game based on the series of popular sci-fi adventures from Palladium Books has officially been funded on Kickstarter. The project racked in an amazing $1,442,312 on a very moderate $70,000 goal. That is some dedication from fans, eh?

Watch Star Trek into Darkness Online Palladium Books wanted to bring the Robotech tabletop experience into the new generation of role-playing, featuring some of the most highly detailed miniature gaming pieces available for the fast-paced RPG experience. Even though majority of gaming these days is focused on the electronic digital entertainment and interactive media experience, I think a well crafted tabletop game with fleshed out rules and a decent story book to accompany the game can still make waves in the industry. Based on that awesome Kickstarter video complete with that old 1980s footage of the Robotech cartoon, I can easily see why the Kickstarter easily surpassed its goal and then went on to kick butt, take names and then rack up more than $1 million in crowd-sourced funding.

Watch Pain And Gain Online As showcased in the video, many of the classic pieces and units made famous throughout Palladium's rich history of the series have been modeled in real-life plastic replicas, giving tabletop gamers a nice cache of some of their favorite Robotech mechs to pilot in the form of a tabletop RPG. It’s not just about shooting humans in Aeria Games’ upcoming tactical combat game, Soldier Front 2. When you’re ready for something a little extra (extraterrestrial, that is), then you’ll be able to jump into several new modes that let you pump lead into hordes of aliens, too. Hooray green blood!

Watch G I Joe Retaliation Online Soldier Front 2, like its predecessor, will be a free-to-play online game that mixes tactical combat with FPS action. While the core game will boast a more realistic look at modern warfare, the game will also boast modes that feature alien enemies, as well as the chance to don the skin of an alien yourself. For starters, Hero Mode will pit players against each other in a MOBA-style game where two teams will battle to overtake the other’s base. This is done by controlling constantly spawning alien troops and using your tactical prowess to out-think the opposition.

Watch The Hangover 3 Online If a more direct approach to combat is your cup-o-tea, then perhaps you will enjoy the co-op Defense mode, which sees four players taking on the role of soldiers in an effort to wipe out wave after wave of alien baddies. There’s also a Manhunt mode, which lets one team of humans take on one team of aliens. Those siding with the E.T.s will have three classes to choose from, including the sneaky melee-heavy Rippers, the quick and explosive Stunners and the projectile-lobbing Libertines.

Waaaarrioooors, come out and plaaaa-eeee-aaaaay. Rockstar’s sudden influx of PlayStation 2 Classics available on the PlayStation Network continues to grow as the developer announces The Warriors will be arriving next Tuesday, May 28. Whether or not you’re a fan of the movie, it’s hard to speak ill of a game like The Warriors. It’s not often that a quality game based on a quality movie hits consoles, much less a game based on a movie that’s several decades old. But Rockstar did the dang-near impossible with the PlayStation 2 game, The Warriors, crafting an experience that stays true to the spirit of the film while simultaneously proving to be one of the best games of last generation.

I've had a boxee box for a couple years which I use in my media room to feed a Pioneer Elite receiver which outputs video to a projector. For the past two years I've played mostly MKV files with DTS over wifi and it worked well. However, recently I pulled an Ethernet cable from my Office where my NAS box containing all of my movies sits to the media room. Now that speed is not a bottleneck I started streaming videos with DTS HD MA in a mkv container but I get the problem of audio drop out a few times a movie that last a second or so each time. Are there any versions of firmware that do not have this problem? I've read it's an issue but no fix.

I can't seem to find another media player that has the artwork with automatic updating that the boxee box has, if only the HD audio worked....

I would be willing to pay up to $500 for a media player with the same jukbox movie navigation that boxee has but I just can't seem to find one.

If anyone knows of a player that has a good jukebox navigation and passes HD audio without dropout please respond.

Resolution Change after Receiver Turned Off and back On again - Asustor 604T

All,

hope you can help me with this one:

Recently purchased an Asustor NAS AS-640T which partially is supposed to also server as a media serving front-end and comes with Boxee.

The Asustor is connected via HDMI to my Denon AV Receiver and from there to my LG TV (same issue ocurrs if I switch the output to go to my Panny PT-AT6000). Boxee runs quite happily on this NAS without any issues whatsoever, except for one that does render it unfortunately unusable:

When I turn of my TV and subsequently the Denon (I guess we can assume it is not intended that the NAS will also be turned off, which it never will be) and at a later stage turn the Denon and TV back on, Boxee has automatically switched resolution back to 480 and doesnt get back to the 1080p that it used to run at. Only solution seems to reboot the NAS, which is not a viable option.

I could only imagine that what is happening is that Boxee discivers after the Denon is shut down that no capable TV is connected and defaults to the lowest resolution.

Since Boxee on the Asustor does not allow to override auto-discovered resolutions (greyed out in the menu) there seems no way other than restart.

None of my other devices that I leave on when turning off the Denon and LG show similar behaviour or they have allow to force a resolution (even the AppleTV allows that)

Any help much appreciated.

Hi
I got a Boxee from a Girlfriend, and i have hooked it up and connected it to my TV.
But well i struggle to figure out WHAT it actually is.
I can see that i can stream Series and Movies, although many of the Movie links require me to pay a fee to watch ( when i can just stream it for free on my Mac or PC ).
Also the Series available are not very well known/ mainstream ( like for example i would maybe like to watch Family Guy or Shameless ).

So im now sitting here with yet another set of cables stretching across my room connected to yet another doodad ( My Boxee ), and i dont know what its doing for me or why i have/ need it.

What does my Boxee do for me?
What CAN my Boxee potentially do for me?

Thnx

Boxee DVR Channel Addition (Houston Market)

Hello all, I would like to make a request to add a few more channels to the line-up of recordable channels for the Boxee DVR. I have played with several different set-up configurations (i.e.: small antenna, large antenna, mohu antenna, and cable) and currently receive about 73 channels. The problems is that I can only schedule recordings on about nine (9) of them! I have also noticed that a given provider, say PBS has one top-level channel and several additional channels (i.e.: 8.1 is a top-level channel, 8.2 & 8.3 are the additional channels, bearing their own distinct programming), those additional channels are not recordable.

From what I can tell, Boxee DVR currently allows me to record the following channels:

2.1 - NBC
8.1 - PBS
11.1 - CBS
13.1 - ABC
26.1 - FOX
39.1 - CW
45.1 - Univision
49.1 - ION
49.2 - Qubo (This channel is an example of Boxee being able to record additional sub-channels of a main channel. It is a sub-channel of 49.1)

I would like to propose the addition of the following channels to the DVR lineup:

2.2 - This
8.2 - Create
8.3 - V Me
11.2 - Bounce
13.2 - Live Well
20.1 - my20 (part of Fox 26)
39.2 - Antenna TV
47.1 - Telemundo (part of Univision)
57.1 - Kube

Thank you,

ok so i just got a surround sound system and boxee has caused non-stop problems since installing.

previously boxee-hdmi-tv no issues.
now everything runs through receiver then feeds to tv (all hdmi) everything works perfectly except boxee.

when initially installed boxee had no sound and would constantly freeze/crash i tried doing everything i could online changing all settings ETC then after finally giving up i reset to factory settings and it worked with sound and not crashing (YAY!).

now in the morning, no sound and crashing again. resetting back to factory makes it work again but really tedious to do every time...

does factory reset change the boxee version? (firmware) is it updating itself causing it to mess everything up?

im connecting it to a samsung hte6750w (which is working perfectly)

Hi there,

Purchased my Boxee today and hopefully should have my hands on it next week.

I currently have my media managed in Itunes with my music on on external hardrive and my movies/tv on another one. Both these hardrives will be plugged directly in the back on the Boxee.

All my movies and films have covers on them. They were added via the "Add Image" facility via Itunes...does this mean the Boxee will pick these up via the interface?

Thanks?
