Blu ray player on boxee

Hello everybody,

I installed last version boxxe on my macmini 2008 and work fine with .iso. .vod. . mkv. mp4...
Someone know if Is possible connect via USB an external blu ray player for pc and use it for play original BLU RAY DISK in boxee ? (like happen with a normal DVD into the player inside macmini)

maybe one day... but i wouldn't hold my breath.

boxee is open-source, i don't see sony jumping to licenses bd+ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BD%2B) copy-protection to an open-source application. (as that would effectively open-source bd+)
