Was at the boxee event today and it was sponsored by Pogoplug. I looks like a device that lets you share your external hard drive on the net.

I had never heard of it and it looked interesting. I was going to get a droboshare for my drobo to do just that, but now I'm looking at this pogoplug thing.

Does anyone have any exeperience with pogoshare or droboshare? Goods / bads?

The pogoplug is $100 cheaper than the droboshare, so that is a big selling point for me.

If you're just looking to share your media on the web anywhere, try tversity. its a free (with paid pro option) media player/transcoder that shares your content on the web. I had issues with it not running right on my windows vista computer, but it looked like i was the exception to these problems. In a nutshell, If I restarted my machine, it would lose the app's config settings and wouldn't start the server allowing it to work. In searching for a solution, it appeared I was the only person who had this problem. Before you spend the money, give this a shot and see if its worth it to you.
