I can't get Boxee to launch. I select it on the AppleTV menu, I get the login screen; select my user ID; I then get a brief flash of the new background, then I get:
"Error: XMBC/Boxee exited with status: 10"
Though the status has been 11 sometimes.
It was working fine. I was trying to enable network shares before this happened. Tried updating to no avail.

reboot ATV and make sure you are using the latest boxee version (http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=887)

Yeah, I've rebooted multiple times. Downloaded the updated version (and launcher) multiple times. Nada. It just comes to the user login screen, then flashes the wallpaper while saying "connecting" for a split second, then either gives me the error message or freezes up the AppleTV with a blank screen.
Looks like I'm headed for a factory reset if I want to use boxee.

I think I know how to solve this. I've experienced the same. It seems that you have connected source, which is not "supported" scanning. I had the same with Time Capsule, when I clicked "private" option, it works fine, but, when I do not check private option, it keeps rebooting all the time. Don't know why. Try to delete them in this short time, and then, Add new Sources with "private" option.

@ marcel:
I don't have Boxee installed anywhere but my AppleTV, so I'm uncertain as to how to follow your instructions?
