I just updated 10/21 7:pm ET (I forget the version #)

The new release is absolutely amazing. The interface is snappier and more refined and the new features are ... selling apple tv units for apple most likely.

So the one black mark on my boxee experience thus far is a pretty consistent lock up on exit. I am running atv 2.2 and any time I run boxee when I exit the unit locks up on the atv boxee/xmbc options screen. I can't exit the menu ... or relaunch boxee. When I click the menu button the green light on the unit blinks but no beep. I have to restart my unit to get out of the screen. On restart everything is fine.

Rinse and repeat.

p.s. My hulu frame rates are good. Love the new feature!

Same here, Boxee exit menu locks up!. I would say this started happening after the latest build i ran today afternoon.
I have to restart my ATV to go back in.
This never happened before. The exit menu always was very graceful in taking me back to the ATV Main Menu.

My experiences are that boxee may be indexing your media. Once it took 30 minutes for it to exit.

This just happened to me. Boxee won't let me exit back to the ATV. My share drive is lighting up, so perhaps it is being indexed. I won't pull the plug on the ATV tonight and see if it ever recovers.

There should be some visual feedback to know what the software and hardware are up to!

Yep. That was it. It took 30 minutes to exit! And no feedback as to what it was up to. Not cool!

this is still something we are considering to add in the future..

so if I let it index once will it take that long subsequently? This is a real buzz kill on boxee.

Having this problem too on the latest build with a Mac Mini. I tried waiting 30 minutes to see if it was an indexing thing but stilling hanging.

I'm running full screen headless. Is there a way to kill it with out having to reboot?
