Incorrect Video Scrapping

LOL ... I have a folder called "Various" which has a bunch of various videos like music clips, etc.

Boxee said it's -> Various (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0449665/) which is a movie about the Pet Shop Boys :D

There was no way to tell Boxee that it wasn't this either, because it's a folder not a single video file.

There has been some recent discussion about metadata and how scrapping can falsely identify some media.

Have you tried to manually recognize the media?

To manually recognize the media, browse to it in the library as if you were going to play it. Select "read more" instead of play and you can say it is the wrong video. You should be able to manually type in the information.

i have a similar directory of stuff like that (i call it 'misc')... i just set it to 'private', so boxee wouldn't index it.
