Youtube videos don't play

A large number of YouTube videos don't play on boxee. When I play it via a youtube rss feed, I get a youtube screen with the error message "An error ocurred, Please try again".

When I play the same video from the YouTube app, I get the progress animation for about 30 seconds and it returns to the previous screen.

I've attached log snippets from both feed and app. Also, I'm using Boxee v0.9.11.5774 on a Mac mini.

Another thing I noticed was that for the videos that didn't play, http://dir.boxee.tv/apps/youtube/play/... url in the app resolves to a large flv file(173 MB) But for videos that work its an MP4. An example of such a URL

Any pointers to fix this would be appreciated as I'm trying to submit an app for the developer challenge.

There's no doubt youtube needs to be careful in the future, but it is a great site. Personally, I am a big fan of youtube and use it to keep up to date with news, sports and even movie releases. The problem with youtube, and many other online video sites, is that the picture quality can be bad. Some of the HD video (http://dozenvideo.com/Video-HD-TOP/) sites listed on dozenvideo.com offer really good HD quality sites such as vimeo. But when it comes to choice, nothing can beat youtube.
