Feature Poll

While going through the forums, I see various feature requests and would like to summarize what's being requested and give others the chance to rate and vote for the features they want most.

Maybe this will help Boxee decide which features to work on first.

Here's a summary of the features (in no particular order):

1. Metadata handling
2. Remote control (via web, iPhone or other cool device of the day)
3. Improved proxy support (customizable on a feed-by-feed basis)
4. More roaming profile/preference support
5. TVRSS.NET integration
6. File management (i.e. delete)
7. Parental controls
8. Improved DAAP client
9. More players (i.e. BBC player)
10. Slingbox player
11. Improved UI performance
12. Watched flag
13. Import iTunes content (i.e. content synced with iTunes to Apple TV)

What do you think of this feature list? Anything I'm missing? Could I group or categorize them better?

I'd love to see people rate the features and I'll tally the results.

The Rest I don't care that much, cuz I woudln't really use those features.

With the exception of adding more default online media content sources (which in my opinion will always be most important to Boxee), the #1 priority in my option should be better identifying of the end-users existing media files, thus my own priority list for feature request would be this:

The #2 priority in my own opinion would be more social networking features as that it really what makes Boxee stand apart from other media center software applications:

Great Idea :)

1. iTunes/iPhoto support
2. Better meta-data handling (name + cover art edit)
3. Faster UI. (going back to movies library for the second time takes as much time the first time..cache it all please.. the wife thinks its sooo slow)
