Direct integration with tvrss.net

Admit it dudes tvrss.net is the shit. I use it all the time to grab torrents from my favorite shows. So the next logical step? Direct interface to tvrss.net inside boxee! Just start typing a show name, live search through their database, and One Button Subscribe (tm).

i would be happy with just being able to add a tvrss type feed. direct integration is never going to happen.

Having just started to use boxee, it seems to me that, with torrent integration, the application is only inches from the killer feature of this kind of programs. I completely second tilsammans' words:

integration with a service such as tvrss.net is THE feature I'd really like to see in boxee.

1) An interface to search and filter tv shows in tvrss.net
2) Schedule boxee to automatically download them
3) Cry with excitement over this video-on-demand feature!

I've created a utility that renames search based tvRSS feeds to "Show Name" - tvRSS and re-serves the feed with a url that boxee can understand.

Give it a try at http://tvrss.cjmart.in/, it's a bit raw right now but I plan on adding more data to the feeds using the same service boxee uses to identify media... let me know what you think.

I now have Name of Show - tvRSS instead of tvRSS Search based feed for all the different shows.

MUCH easier to navigate. I had used TinyURL previsouly to shrink the long tvRSS URLS down to something Boxee's My RSS Feed would handle but this does both.

This stopped working for me last night.

I think it's working now, but the plain fact of the matter is that renaming your torrent feeds and being able to have more than one feed from the same search engine should be a BASIC functionality of Boxee.
