deadlock after login?

I've just installed boxee-0.9-r3927 on Ubuntu Hardy from the official repo, and it is deadlocking immediately after login for me. It gets to the "Connecting..." window and that's it. It appears there is a deadlock in CGraphicContext::SetRenderingResolution, but it's not immediately obvious to me where else the lock is being held. I've attached the backtrace. Nobody else is seeing this?

I'm on a single-core AMD/NVidia box.
