Remove a feature?

It's an odd request (and I may get chided for this)....

Not so much a feature, but a video category I'd like not to have available in the menus. Specifically, "xxx". I know, I know, "If you don't like it, just don't use it." But I'd rather it be unavailable. I'd like for Boxee to be as 'family friendly' as possible. :) Anyway to shut it off?

agreed. Perhaps the simply way is to allow creation of a user profile that is restricted for kids, etc.

This if implemented could serious simplify the UI for regular users. No adding of sources, no settings, etc.

i just went ahead and deleted the entire "my video podcast" directory... not completely sure how i went about this as i always get confused if the modification of sources happens in settings or or the music/movies/photos tabs.... but it IS in there so i nuked it

Thanks. I didn't see the postings. Should've looked. :) I actually had Boxee on my ATV for a little bit until I saw the xxx channel, and removed Boxee. I'd love to put it back someday, once Parental Controls are in place. I'd love to get Hulu on ATV.

A code-level mod that made the xxx stuff just plain inaccessible to anyone would be cool (i.e., can't get to it no matter what from the menu level, even with passwords). But at this point I don't even know how to ssh to my ATV from my G4. :rolleyes:
