is there any way to create a source for a direct link to a hulu tv show. so i can just bookmark the site and not have to go through the billion menus.

also maybe add a search field. :)

ps. boxee friggen rocks my socks off.

I came on to ask this exact same question. I absolutely love the ability to watch Hulu in boxee. While the amount of content is what makes it such a huge feature, it also means that getting to the content I want takes some time. Bookmarking specific shows would be great. Perhaps even seeing updates to bookmarks in the recently added list (when a new episode is posted or something).

i knew i couldnt have been the only one. I know maybe we can add the rss it uses for episodes, but it would be nice to have it built in. Ive been working late so havent been able to tinker much with it.

boxee keeps a list of your recently played items... if you select the list, it will show you all of the items you've played.

Neil,
I appreciate the response but I am not sure how that is related to the requested bookmarking feature. Maybe I am missing something but I am just wondering if there is any easier way to get to specific Hulu shows that I like. For instance... instead of navigating through the sources, finding hulu, selecting tv, selecting full episodes, and scrolling all the way down to "T" to find The Daily Show it could be a big time saver to have a direct link to new episodes of The Daily Show, or other shows that I bookmark as favorites of mine. Also, on the main screen it could update on the "Recently Added" list when new episodes of shows that I have bookmarked have been added to Hulu. So every day there is a new episode of The Daily Show on Hulu I see it on the main screen when I log in.

Again, I absolutely love the Hulu feature and I think it really sets boxee apart from the rest of the media center options at the moment. I am just throwing out suggestions.

my bad... i misunderstood...

when i read 'bookmarking' i thougt of a browser, a bookmark in a browser is a site you've been to... so i thought you were asking for a way to 'mark' shows you've watched, and would like to go back to.

I had posted the same request in another thread, but it know occurs to me that I may have been unclear.

Simply put, I watch a couple of weekly shows every week. (e.g., Prison Break, CSI, Heroes).

If I could easily navigate to "Prison Break" and from there select the episode (sorted newest first would be nice:) ) that would do the trick. The way it is now, I have to scroll through all the hulu shows (95%+ of which I will never watch) to get to "Prison Break".

To me this would be more important than "Recently Played", at least with respect to TV shows. I rarely watch a full episode more than once (in a short period of time).

Checkout this thread for instructions on adding an RSS feed to Boxee for your Hulu queue:
http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=1123

I haven't done it yet, but plan on it shortly.

I just created a Hulu account, and it appears when you subscribe to shows - new episodes will automatically added to your queue.
