boxee on atv refresh 0.9.3940

we have just released a refresh, 0.9.3940, for atv fixing the stuttering issues with hulu and cbs.

please update boxee on atv if you experience these issues.

Until I updated the "XBMC/Boxee Launcher 0.2", I only saw 0.9.3383 listed in the Boxee Launcher Updater on my Apple TV. It wasn't obvious to me that I had to update the launcher to see the new update.

Just pointing this out in case others wonder why they don't see the latest version in teh updater.

I installed it. And it seems to have fixed stuttering issues.

The update has fixed the stuttering, however it is still not playing back at the right size on my AppleTV. It seems to be cropping off the bottom 1/3 of the video and then stretching the whole thing to fill in the space. My AppleTV is outputting at 720p. I've tried watching a 16:9 and a 4:3 show on hulu and CBS and they both have the same problem.

I am still experiences slight stuttering (much better then the last version though). Does it do indexing of local/network media in the background?

Nice. Much faster. Shame about Hulu and CBS only working in the US but it's nice to have the rest of the feeds that do work internationally.

It's a free VPN service. You can watch Hulu outside of the US using the service. Not sure about the overhead tho.

when i choose "updates" and select boxee 0.9.3940, it does nothing and does not update. is it possible to update manually? i am also experiencing this problem when trying to update the launcher. i am running appletv 2.0.2, and installed xbmc/boxee manually as i already i had ssh enabled. thanks.
