pelisalacarta 2.0 plugin - Spanish movies and tv shows

Hi all,

I have released a new version of my plugin pelisalacarta, and I've rewritten it from scratch in order to improve compatibility with XBMC, Plex and Boxee in all supported platforms.

The plugin lets you view movies and series from some of the most popular Spanish websites:

Peliculasyonkis
Seriesyonkis
Cinetube
Newcineonline
Pelis24
MCAnime forum

It gets movies and tv shows listings from these sites, and when you go to the detail page it looks for videos in several servers. Currently detects Megavideo, Stagevu, tu.tv, Vreel and Wuapi.

The best part is that if you have a premium Megavideo account you can see this videos without the 72' limit!

Boxee is an amazing platform. I will soon release tvalacarta 2.0 (a rewrite of my plugin for tv on demand) and will start experimenting with the flash url format supported by boxee.

This could be the solution for viewing channels not supported by xbmc, like Telecinco, La Sexta, etc.

Hi all,

I've been using the pelisalacarta & tvalacarta plugins successfully (& very happily) for a few months, but with the latest Boxee (9.14.6992) and plugin-updates (pelisalacarta 2.3.1 & tvalacarta 2.0) I haven't been able to successfully reinstall the plugins. I tried adding them to the the following directories (which worked in the previous version) -

(1) /Applications/boxee.app/contents/Resources/Boxee/Plugins/Video (I had to create the last two folders)
&
(2) /Users/frontrow/Library/Application Support/BOXEE/User Data/plugins/video

Anyone experiencing the same issue? Any tips?

You have to copy the plugins in both directories, in order to get the plugins working.

This weekend i published an application repository, so the easy way is to add it to your repository list and then add the applications.

The URL of the repository is:

Don't forget to remove the old plugins before reinstalling.

always tell me script failed.

i have just seen that developer of pelisalacarta posted these forun upon almost 2 years ago.


for your info the repo is still working and it has developed itself a lot. so my question is about the new update of boxee box os. will be able to run it?? i am using it a lot, and according to your message over the update, we will not be able to run it more until developer sign over your web site?? is that true??? otherwise i preffer not tu update, is there any method to keep current os

after updating, repos pelisalacarta y tvalacarta are not working at all. i know developer already singned them on your site but still not working.

those repos are really important for spanish people like my wife who does not speak english at all.

can you boxee team look into it???
