Does the current build 0.9.2307 (2307) support the Apple Remote. I am unable to navigate the menu.

very much so :)

it's probably some issue that would be resolved by rebooting or disable/reenable apple remote under boxee Settings > Settings > System and toggle Always Running and Mode to Standard.

Yep, that was a case of Shut Up and Reboot.
But now I have issues with sound. Video is ok but audio is only static. Seems to occur under all formats vob, iso, eyetv (mpeg).

what sort of audio setup do you have (stereo out, internal speakers, spdif)? what hardware?
