Can Boxee read private RSS feeds?

Does Boxee support private RSS feeds that require authentication, or must a feed be publicly accessible in order to be consumed by Boxee?

You would have to build an app that supports it, using python to authenticate to the site or sites in question then request the feed. by default, if you can't view the feed without authentication in a browser, boxee won't be able to access it.
