Recently BOXEE has been fucking a bit up. 90% of my movies are shown as folders rather than using the fancy-smanzy coverart it used to. Bah! :/
I have searched for "uninstall" in the forum, but the results I got seemed to only work on older versions (I have the newest). Fx. I dont have a folder called "BOXEE" in my "Application Support"-folder.
Can anyone give me a complete, step by step, retard-friendly guide to how I can uninstall BOXEE and start all over? I effin' want my bitchin' coverart back! :D
Regards
Martin

never used a mac before, linux here, cant imagine its too much different. look for a .boxee directory in /home, and find the userdata directory under that, remove that. that will get rid of your personal settings, then you can start over.

I'd also like to know how to uninstall. A real answer would be appreciated... that is... how to completely uninstall boxee, not how to reset the user settings. Thanks.
P.S. Linux newb here. Please as little command line and as much GUI as possible, thanks

open synaptic package manager system>admin>synaptic. search for boxee, click the checkbox next to it, and choose complete removal. click apply. boxee is removed. or on command line sudo apt-get remove --purge boxee

If you're using os x get appzapper, it's the best uninstaller out there.

just remove the boxee folders under the following directories:
/Applications/Boxee.app
~/Library/Application Support/Boxee

just remove the boxee folders under the following directories:
/Applications/Boxee.app
~/Library/Application Support/Boxee
Removing equals moving Boxee.app and the Folder in the library into the Trash.
Then it's deleted. That's how the uninstalling process works on macs.
Or you use AppZapper, like mentioned before.
