Weather location selecter needs more info

This is a usability issue.

I just tried to set the weather to my local town but after entering the towns name the following box came up blank and gave me no indication of what I had done wrong.

It would be nice if when the search gave no results that it said "Town not on list, please enter another town"

Also kinda related so I will write it here. It might be deemed a little anal though. ;)

I felt it was a little confusing that there is both a menu for "Region" and for "Weather". If Weather had more options to it I could kinda understand, but since both these menus are pretty small perhaps you could consolidate them into one screen? Otherwise it's a little confusing that I need to go to one menu to say I am in the UK and then to another menu to say what town in the UK I am in.

why not use the noaa info http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/xml/ or http://weather.weatherbug.com/desktop-weather/api.html
