boxee upgrade wants my admin password?

Not sure I want to give this! Is there any other way to upgrade?

boxee doesnt store this information in any way - the way it works is:

- boxee downloads a .dmg disk image for the installer
- tells os x to mount the image
- the installer needs to write some files to the system so os x requests the admin password
- boxee passes the password through
- installer completes

the other way you could do this is manually download the update, and install it yourself - you will still be asked for your admin password.
