Video is a negative, and a couple of other issues

Hello,
Just installed Boxee today, trying to play with it to see if I want to cut the cord from Cable before I move into our new place next week.

I have Boxee finding my Itunes and movies and it seems to be doing so fine, slowly but finding my music...

But I have a couple of issues...
1 - Video plays back but looks like a purple negative of the film - I searched but havn't seen any issues like this noted I also tried XBMC with the same issue - Movies play back through Itunes without a hitch - Encoded with Handbrake 9.1 - Normal default MP4 and MKV

2 - Itunes TV Show does not play, My Fiance has a few TV shows she bought through Itunes, it just black screens and the backs out to the menu again.

3 - And I am having the same HULU issue, not available on this site please go to Hulu

My Fiance says that's fine we can just switch apps back and forth, but I plan on building a dedicated HTPC system to Run Blue-Ray 1080p and 7.1 Surround and want to work out the bugs with this system before I drop a grand on my new components to build the system and drop cable...

Any Help would be great...

Current System is IMac 2.16GHz Intel Dual Core - 1Gb Ram - OSX 10.4.11

Boxee cannot play purchased content from iTunes due to the DRM. Things like m4p.

Okay, so no DRM material, that works, but the movies are ripped from DVDs that I own not DRM protected downloads...

The video problem can be fixed by editing a config file to change the rendering option, check this post for the instructions (this worked for me when I had the exact same issue)
