Status not updated on webpage?

Although I've semi-successfully played a few pieces of media, and more than once left Boxee via normal exit, I haven't seen an update to my profile page. When/how often is this updated? Could it be that I still see my library being frantically indexed and I need to develop more patience? :p

currently, only media that has been played from the library would be reported to boxee, so if that's not what you're doing, it will not show on boxee.

Although we all know what assumption does, I'm assuming the media I'm watching now is in the library -- had it on for about 20 minutes with no profile update. Is there a quick easy way to verify something's in the library database? I'll futz with it more this weekend after I recompile for debugging.

And now it's updating my status -- could it have anything to do with the fact that I tried to force the issue by recommending something? Now I can move on to whinging about the lack of subtitles (.srt file not being picked up automatically or when I browsed and selected the file manually -- Keymap.xml been berry, berry good to me!).

recommendation should not, and probably did not, expedite actions being reported to boxee, unless there is some issue there. if you remember what you did more or less sequentially, i can compare with what the server has. PM me if you'd like.

opened a ticket regarding the .srt not being picked up automatically. it should.

there are some known quirks with subs - they would go away sometimes if you skip forward, and go away mosttimes if you skip backwords.
