View Full Version : Pitchfork RSS feed and my app repository

Just wanted to make a quick announcement that I successfully set up an app repository and created a working RSS application for Pitchfork.tv (http://pitchfork.com/tv/).

My repository is available at boxee.helixent.com (http://boxee.helixent.com/), and the app can be installed from there. Alternatively, the feed itself (http://boxee.helixent.com/rss/pitchfork/index.rss) can be added to your RSS feeds. If you try it out, let me know how it works.

Thanks to boxee and the community for the excellent work. I look forward to developing more apps in the future, and helping out the community where I can.

awesome job!

Kinda new here, looking for repositories. A centralized list of RSS feeds and repositories would be great. Otherwise,cant wait for Boxee to go into beta!

This is the future.

Hi! I'm having problems with the Pitchfork feed. The videos don't start automatically. Any ideas what to do?

This could be greatest Boxee app ever! :D Thank you so much!

I set up the repository but the videos don't play. They load and then freeze with a play button in the middle.

Do you need to also set up the rss feed? I thought it was one or the other....

Could this be a factor of the recent update?

Ditto. I'm running Windows XP SP3.

Ditto, freeze frame with ">" play button but no video or audio. I am a boxee newbie and this is the first app I've added manually. Am I missing something? Really would love to have this working. Thanks for any help.

no autoplay here either. .10408 win7. this app will be amazing once fixed.
