A list of Justin.tv channels within the sports category.

You can view the source here:

This can easily be adapted to other Justin.tv categories.

To use, add the tinyurl link above to My RSS in your boxee account settings.

Thanks for the link to yahoo.pipes and justin.tv sports. It works great. Any other sites like Justin.tv that this could be adapted to work with?

Yeah, absolutely. You'll see in my Yahoo! Pipes code that all I've done is a bit of screen scraping of Justin.tv. Any website that has a predictable format plus content in flash or silverlight will work.
USTREAM, for instance, appears to fit perfectly, and would only need minor tweaks to the Yahoo! Pipes code (I'll take a look at creating a feed this weekend).
Obviously, since it's only an RSS feed, play, pause, etc. do not work. But until someone builds an application shell, it at least gives you access to the content.

I looked at the Ustream site- the rss feeds there on the site seem to work in boxee on my appletv (If I can just find something on there worth watching.)
This may be a stupid question, but how do I get a particular web address address that streams flash (such as http://freetube.110mb.com/index.php?view=1Zm94bmV3cw or numerous others into yahoo pipes?)

Well, I tried creating a FreeTube RSS feed. Mixed results. Hulu accepts the feed, but it struggles opening the content.
TinyURL feed:

Yahoo! Pipes source:

Not sure what's different between this and the Justin.tv feed. Everything in the source code appears to work fine.

I think part of the reason it's not working is simply that my windows version Boxee is a bit old (9.9.5xxx). I'll test again later on my AppleTV.

Wow. Great work. I just tried a couple of channels and they work pretty well on my apple tv. Thanks for creating this pipe!
Yesterday I tried just creating an rss feed of a free tube page using a free service feedyes.com- but boxee wouldn't open the video for me.

This worked like a charm! Thanks for letting me watch the NBA finals without giving in to cable :)

This is awesome. Live sports on Boxee. Live news is all we need now and I can get rid of cable forever (well, that and the quality of these streams needs to get better, but that will happen in time!)
One other observation. It looks like its only grabbing the first page of listings. I'm not sure how pipes works, but is it possible to grab everything under sports for the rss feed?
