I have been playing around with Yahoo pipes and it creates rss feeds but I can't get boxee to accept them. I get an invalid feed (2) error. Here is the feed which works in Safari and other feed readers.
feed://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=0020f7d774642a606df29a431aed7a6b&_render=rss
(feed://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=0020f7d774642a606df29a431aed7a6b&_render=rss)
Any ideas?

Feedburner translates feeds to short form for boxee.

Pipe generates rss format that only pipe website can understand. All mashup things are too much hype. They don't work well with any rss manager.

Looks like boxee wants an XML feed and yahoo pipes will only produce a regular rss 2.0 feed. Upon looking at a few of the feeds that I actually have working they are all xml. I still like the idea of pipes as you can unify a bunch of feeds into one channel or feed. Maybe yahoo can soon produce xml or boxee could soon accept rss 2.0 but I don't know of the technical difficulties in doing that. Would be nice though.

Yahoo pipes feeds are working for me. See the justin.tv sports topic. It may be as simple as running the rss feed address through tinyurl before boxee can read it.
