I'm getting 150% -180% CPU usage by boxee on a MacBookPro 2.6g core 2 duo even when idle. I'm using boxee 0.9.11.5591 on 10.5.6 and I've got 4gigs of RAM. It seems like it doesn't use more processor when playing video files or any less when it's idle. With such high CPU usage on this mac, I can't imagine how people are using it on lesser machines except that there must be something wrong with my install.
I also tried it on a MacBookPro with a 2.1ghz core 2 duo and 2 gigs of ram with similar results.
