It would seem as though there is a maximum character limit for the URL field for manual source additions. I was copying an pasting RSS feeds into Boxee, but after I save them (successfully) I came later only to see that they had been truncated/sanitized. This is probably why they weren't working.
As an aside, I was trying to do this to add my own video download resource (can you say TVRSS.net), but Boxee does not have an option that designates what TYPE of source it is. Needless to say this didn't work. I am using Miro now to retrieve content but I see that RTorrent is built in. Why can't we get to the the settings for that, or the queue for any of the video downloads? I would like to see some of the features of Miro added to Boxee, but minimally we should be able to tell the program what type of source we are adding, and then be able to manage the download/buffer for that content.
