Hi,
Not sure what the difference is between "suspend" and "exit" Boxee.
but when I choose to exit boxee, it takes like 5 minutes before I'm back in the appleTV menu.
Is this normal?

Interesting, I came here looking for whether anybody else was experiencing that issue. I have the same problem, it takes a couple of minutes for Boxee to startup and exit. It hangs for a couple of minutes with the Apple logo.
I am on Apple TV 2.1 and latest version of Boxee.

I've spent a good deal of time today with Boxee and I've noticed the same. After about 10 minutes I logged into the atv and rebooted. Mosts times the delay is about 3ish minutes. I've added a rather huge share and boxee is using 95%+ CPU. I wonder if it's just an issue of being heavily loaded CPU and I/O wise and stopping processes is taking a long time.
Maybe a developer type will drop in and let us know...

just curious, is everyone here using 2.1? not implying that's the issue, but it would be noteworthy if you all are.

Hi - no, my HD is virtually empty. I have an external USB drive attached that auto-mounts (I have been using a hacked ATV since the early days of awkwardtv.
I am new to XBMC / Boxee though - I am looking forward to using this as a front-end to ATV since I heard that a part was in the pipeline.
