Hello

The video player for HD works great!!! I have C2D mac nvidia GPU and LCD TV (1360x768) hdmi connected. OSX ver 10,5,6

I'm trying to see my HD videos recorded with my camcorder 1080i 60i AVCHD format.

If I change the video file extension to .TS or .MKV they play very well on boxee, but showing their natural internacing lines.

Is there any way to set up Boxee or the coded to deinterlace on the fly?

Having this will be 100% happy with boxee.

Txs and regards!!!

EDIT !!

Sorry I've found on the OSD display under settings the chance to activate DEINTERLACING ....
While reviewing the DEINTERLACING choices the BOXEE applications sudenly closes, it happens all the times repeating the situation, have to let the Auto option selected, it is fine anyway.

Movie is AVCHD 25 mbps with Dolby Digital 2.0 audio.
I't plays a little choppy now, but it is fine anyway.
The only codec I'was able to view this kind of movies at full frame rate is CoreCodec The same as built in with the eye TV... but they do not distribute it as stand alone codec for Mac you can only find it on Eye TV, it is a pain as a media player, and the Core Player no support for AC3 or digital pass trough; incredible!!!.

I think Boxee "final release" will be the best Multimedia center for OS X... thanks for your excelent Work!!!!!!

I just tried this and it worked. Sweet...

The raw media location for the Panasonic HDC-SD7 is PRIVATE/AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM/xxxx.MTS

Changing the .MTS to .TS or .MKV file extensions makes the videos playable.

My question is what is the negatives in doing this?
What is lost?
Did you note any reduction in video or sound quality?
