Hi,
Boxee is doing a very fine job recognizing my movies. However it doesn't seem to index any of my music/albums or pictures. Is this not implemented yet?
Second issue. How can I find out if there are any movies files that have not been recognized. So that I can either change the file name or do something else, to make it recognize it.
Keep up the great work. Any time set for a possible Beta release?

hi
welcome to boxee..
Indexing is done in the background and needs some time to go through all your media content (depending on size) ..if you leave boxee on the screen it will eventually build up all you content..
Pictures are not indexed...
Usually the default folder will be shown when a movie has not been recognized..and you can manually recognize it

Some of the music is now indexed...
Seem to take forever... might have something to do with me having a lot of files. About 6500 .avi files... and 40GB of music..
I've left it on over night for some days now, and it is still indexing :-)

Does boxee index music using idtag? I've put some mp3 on /Users/frontrow/Music and its not indexed.
I've tried remove and recreating the media source, and nothing happened..
what else should I try?

hi MTolent
did you try manually recognizing the music...Could be something with the ID3 tags of those specific albums that prevented their recognition.please pm a list of albums that are not being recognized...:)
