So here's the dilemma... I'm wanting to pick up a Mac Mini, but I'm not sure exactly which one I want. I can pick up the older Mac Mini (2.0 Ghz, Intel 950) for $399, or I can choose from either of the newer Mac Minis ($599 and $799). I've read that boxee can't utilize the 9400M GPU, so I'm not sure if I should drop the extra cash on it.
What do you think?
PS - The boxee remote for the iPhone is effing sweet! Good work!

I'm picking up the same $400 one you're mentioning (I'm assuming its the Micro Center deal going on right now, eh?).

The older mini's are surely a good deal. Other hand, they also have lower bus speeds for both processor and RAM. Consider this before you make your purchase.

So, I've discovered that the deal from Microcenter is pick up only. Which doesn't do me any good, because I don't live a block away from one like I used to. Now its 3.5 hrs.
The 1.83 refurb is available at the Apple Store for $420. I can't find enough of an answer on the boards as to whether or not the 1.83 can handle 720p or 1080p... Can anyone chime in?

So I decided to go the frugal route and pick up the 2.0 Ghz Core 2 Duo (Intel 950) version of the Mac Mini... It works flawlessly. I love it.
