View Full Version : .mkv 1080p crashing boxee

Hi,
i have just bought a new Mac Mini, hooked up to a Pioneer Kuro 50".
When i try to play 1080p mkv files, Boxee quits.
It works perfectly with 720p files,just some (most) of the 1080p files.

Any idea?

Which version of boxee are you running?

Sorry for OT, but is the new Mac Mini able to play 1080p mkv's (high quality profile) without any frame drops? As I understand Boxee uses ffmpeg which relies only on CPU -

What are the sepcs of the mac mini? You will need a pretty beefy mac mini to run 1080p w/o any hicups.
