Subtitles are not displayed.. I choose a subtitle.. Boxee tells me that it's downloding and extracting.. but the subtitle are never displayed...
Using Boxee on OSX 10.4

known issue will be fixed in the next versions..:)

In new Boxee the same problem. Anybody managed to fix it somehow?

running the latest version on Leopard

Please, anybody, no matter what I do I cannot get subtitles to work. I can download, browse and pick subtitles, but they don't display.

there is nothing you can do, at the moment... it's broken for everyone in the current build. :(

It's actually not broken for everyone. I've tried it on multiple movies and haven't had any issues other than not being able to turn it off. (There might be a way, it's just not very clear if there is.)

confirmed... it seems to be working, again.
in a quick test, i was able to find subtitle for:
16 blocks
any given sunday
anger management
as for removing them: the only way i've found to disable them, is to delete the subtitle file. by default, it's downloaded to the same directory as the movie is stored in.

hi guys
this "Error! XMLRPC Login: timed out" happens when boxee can not connect to http://www.opensubtitles.org/ due to problems on their server..if you receive this error just try again later..:)
