Hey,
I'm using the latest alpha release of Boxee on a mac, and have noticed something:
It takes a lot of time to index a small bunch of music. So, could someone explain me how and when does the indexing works, and how to make it index faster?
Thanks.

Boxee recognizes a file in a watched folder that does not exist in its library. Depending on the type of folder it is watching (TV, Movies, Music etc.) it looks up the filename on its respected source (for example, TV goes to www.thetvdb.com), and trys to find a match. If Boxee finds a match, it downloads the cover art / thumbnail and metadata into its library. Once it's done it looks for the next file.

http://thetvdb.org:
You are seeing this page because the current domain is not configured in the current set of name servers or your domain is being parked. This is usually just a temporary error while the domain is being added. Once the domain is configured this page will expire and your correct site will be shown.
The other things you said:
But, why does it take so much time?

My mistake, it is www.thetvdb.com. I have fixed my previous post.
It can take time for various reasons, the server, your internet connection, etc.
