Boxee freezes when opening network source

I have a wired network between my ATV and my networking closet with my FreeNAS box which holds all my movies. I've got the SMB share added into the sources in the settings of Boxee and it shows connected. I go into the video section and go to view my sources, select the SMB share and the whole thing freezes. Meanwhile I am watching the traffic in/out of the freenas box and there seems to be none. So I don't know if it just stuck or if it's trying to grab coverart but not from the FreeNAS but there is definitely no network activity between the two.

Any ideas?

::Edit:: Figured I might add that I am running the most recent version of Boxee that I updated to this morning.

Well I found what the issue was. I turned off Boxee's option to create thumbnails if no cover art was present and now it's working. Looks like it was choking on all my mp4 files, the cover art of the same name, and the ATVFiles metadata xmls.
