boxee + itunes == stale?

I am sure this is just an error on my part, seeing as I am a brand new boxee user.. but here it is anyway..

When i select a song to play boxee freezes up before any music starts.

My music is local on my computer, MacBookPro.
The music was *not* purchased from the itunes store.
All the other information about the album loaded up just fine.

any suggestions?

can you elaborate a little ..what format is the file ? Did you convert the file from another format? Are there any music files that are working...

thanks for getting back to me. I tried a couple of different albums so i am not sure the exact file format but ill try and pull that information for you. No the files were not converted between formats just ripped direct from CD.. and no i wasnt able to get an music files to work from my library. Internet music worked fine.
