Hey everybody!

Since most of us (if not all) have your boxee set up to a high definition display, I would like to make a list of all the internet content that you can get in high definition in Boxee.

Applications, Plugins, RSS streams, etc.

I will update this post regularly with more HD content as it comes along. If you know of something that is not listed here, please post a comment so I can add it to the list.

The List of HD content

Apple Movie Trailers (already bundled with boxee)
Game Trailers (http://boxeehq.com/plugins/gametrailers/)
Vimeo HD (sources.xml)
Cnet HD (sources.xml)

What is it exactly that you are posting. Are these just changes that we do to the sources.xml file and they will appear on our internet content?

This thread is a list of all HD content that you can get from Boxee, whether it is an application, plugin, rss feed, etc.

How do I go about getting a RSS address for a particular Vimeo Channel to create a new 'Source Video Channel'? Like how you created this one..." rss://XXXXXX"

Also, this is the HD Channel feed... How do you set it to play in HD? I've noticed some auto play in HD while others are turned off. Any way to turn HD on in Boxee?

I'm confused as to what you call HD... I just added the 2 sources listed above, Cnet HD and Vimeo HD, when playing video from Vimeo HD and I press the "I" during playback it says the video is only 640x480. IMHO HD is 720p (1280x720) or 1080i/1080p (1920x1080). Did I need to do something else for Vimeo HD to play video at 720p or 1080i/1080p?

How does this work exactly? Do I just copy and paste the sources you have provided into my sources.xml file and save it and it works?

Do I need to do something in the software as well?

This thread is 9+ months old and from what I can tell, doesn't apply to any of the beta releases...

It is an old thread, but I found it after searching Google to find out how to get HD versions of CNet videos. I don't understand why the app built into Boxee only grabs SD videos when HD ones are readily available. The SD videos look absolutely horrible on my computer monitor, so I'm not excited to see what they'd look like on my TV when/if I get the Boxee Box.

*edit*
My apologies, it just looks like the only CNet channel I was interested in, Prizefight, was not in HD (though it seems like there's an HD version available). The other videos are indeed in HD.
