Hi all complete noobie here, have ATV hooked up to my tv with hdmi. I have a mini mac 1.66 dual core running tiger 10.4.11.
Managed to create pathstick atv and load successfully. Atv menu shows boxee/xmbr. I updated all sw 2.3 and (4825?) as well as xmbc. I have a boxee login and this appears on the screen after selecting boxee. However when I select it the screen flashes White then I get the coloured boxee flash for a second, thereafter the dreaded Apple symbol appears and eventually nothing just black :-( only a reboot brings me back. Do I need a factory reset ? On atv? Is there anything else I need to set or check to avoid a 3 hour reload? Xmbc also freezes...it loads with the title screen and totally resets back to the main atv menu.
Ok !!! Sorted!! Back to basics and after a factory reset loaded all again and we're up and running. Found BBC iplayer and am one happy chappie :-) at last I have a use for my ATV!!!
