Well, anyone? You can get the exact same content from those two sites that Hulu had... just an idea.

Very true. Maybe the guys at Boxee HQ will try this out.

The news that Hulu is gone is premature. I accessed the site before deciding to post this information here.

no one said Hulu was gone, just gone from Boxee. But it's all the same to me.

Well its a sudden change, and right now nobody knows if it will be back.. but it may ;-)

Its too bad the addon that was created lasted so short of time, and it may be a cat and dog back and forth battle as far as addons go, but I would imagine the staff of Boxee and the developers will find a way to replace the lost content.

Its 2009, content developers need to realize this.

Yeah, one resolution (as I mentioned) is to use the RTMP streams from NBC.com. The other would be using the Move Networks player from Fox.com... but that would cause the same "issues" impacting the ABC implementation.

Right now, Boxee is sans ABC, Fox, and NBC... sucks for them.

Great idea!

Let's see, Hulu is owned by NBC and News Corp.
Fox is owned by News Corp.

I guess they'd love if boxee did that!

I am still ticked off about the whole Hulu situation, I used to go there regularly but not any more. Adding Fox and NBC would be a great idea, but we would loose all those Sony programs (most were crap anyway).

I just checked out Fox.com and their online content, even the so-called High Def videos, and for some reason the quality was just crap compared to Hulu...I haven't tried NBC yet but that is next on my list.

I have also watched videos on The CW,,,crap quality

Also ABC... not bad, but was expecting better

ABC Family...crap

In short, we need Hulu back!!!

There is a plugin I am testing currently that interfaces the missing Hulu videos on Boxee. So far I have not seen any crashes from it and I will review it shortly if it continues to be a good source of missing content from the Hulu removal.

And yes, it does replaced NBC, ABC, Fox, et al.
