Recently stumbled across this project and I'm genuinely excited. A few quick questions though.

I read the wiki and saw that it basically supports ALL file formats (useful ones anyway) and up to 1080p content. However, is the ATV capable of efficiently playing 1080p content without stuttering and with fast forwarding/rewinding?

I'm actually going to be buying an ATV b/c of Boxee so im hoping that i don't buy the device only to realize that it's not powerful enough to handle 1080p content :)

p.s. Great work guys... when u guys go public.. I'm 1st on the train!

No, the Apple TV can not playback 1080p videos encoded with H.264 (which is what I assume you meant, and not plain old MPEG-2), you can read more here why it can not playback 1080p => http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=86

...it can however playback 720p videos encoded with H.264 and upscale them all to 1080p ;)
