I've been listening to my last.fm radio on boxee and that works great, really nice feature.
However, would it be possible to have my locally stored music also connected with last.fm? I personally rarely use the radio and mostly listen to my own music so this is a killer feature for me.
Also can I ask, is .flac supported?

Wait, I take that back, sorry! Seems last.fm was just a little slow updating.
However, I don't seem to be able to play flac files?

Actually the behaviour does seem to be sporadic. I listened earlier to one song and it took ages to appear. I've just listened to a whole album and 10 mins after the album has finished not one song has yet appeared on last.fm

Hi Zeith,
flac is supported and you should have no problem enjoying your flac music.
i am not sure i undertood your last.fm issue. using boxee you can tune into last.fm stations, share those with your friends and also implicitly (by context) tune into a relevant station (try "info" on one of your albums and hitting the last.fm button).

Hi vulkan
I understand that, but thought that playing my own music (as opposed to streaming from last.fm) would also be recorded on last.fm, as it is in countless other media players. This seemed to work for one song (though it took ages to submit to last.fm) but it hasn't worked since.
flac files don't seem to want to play at all, I've no idea why.

thanks zenith for this report.
i've opened tickets for both problems (last.fm submitting and flac playback).

No problem, thanks for the great work you're all doing on boxee! :)
