Let me first just say Boxee is the shiznit. with that said let me tell you about my setup. I have a emachine i picked up a few years ago on black friday 3.2 with 2 gigs of ram for 100$. a dvi video car running to my 52inch rca hdtv at 1080i, the picture is beautiful. my only problem is viewing web pages is nearly impossible because the text is so small. is there anyway i can fix this issue?

In the display settings in the control panel, you can change the DPI of the font size up. I would select something along the lines of 130 dpi to start and see how much that improves it. Keep adjusting it until you get a size you can live with.
