Hello, I decided to deinstall boxee for the time being, because it is much slower then say, frontrow and really sluggish on my macbook air. Maybe I rushed thing a little, cause now there still seem to be some leftovers from the install. The whole console basically gets filled with messages like this:

<current date/time> com.apple.launchd[153] (tv.boxee.helper): Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds
<current date/time> com.apple.launchd[153] (tv.boxee.helper[8000]) posix_spawnp("/Applications/Boxee.app/Contents/Resources/Boxee/bin/boxeeservice", ...): No such file or directory
<current date/time> com.apple.launchd[153] (tv.boxee.helper[8005]) Exited with exit code: 1
And then it starts over again, only ofc with incremented PID.
Thanks for any help in advance ...

you can try this kill boxeeservice, and under ~/Library/LaunchAgents/ delete tv.boxee.helper.plist ...

the next version out in a few weeks will be better:) stay tuned to the forums

hi, the service was removed already, but after removing the .plist file and a restart it seems to be fixed. Thanks a lot. Maybe I'll try the new version when it comes out, but till then I'm glad I can read my error console again.
