Illustrator CS3 modifier keys don't work

Why post this issue here? Well when I found out I couldn't use these keys I booted into safe mode on my MacBook Pro and the keys worked. Well I then rebooted and went into the Activity monitor and started shutting down processes one by one until the keys worked again. It just happened to be the boxee process. This also affect Indesign but not Photoshop. I uninstalled boxee everything works now. I'll try the next build though.

Thanks, I'll try to disable the service once I install boxee again. I haven't really given it a shot just yet but looking forward to it replacing front row.
