How to determine Netflix streaming quality

Hi There...

finally took the plunge and hooked my Mac up to the main TV last night.

Netflix looks great...no stuttering although video quality appears variable. Is there any way I can see information about the Netflix stream in Boxee?

I would also like to know if there is a way to make the video appear higher quality? I am willing to sacrifice buffer time for DVD quality picture (Hulu looked better than Netflix).

I am grateful for teh plugin, it has a really nice interface, and it's convenient. However, I am hoping there will be improvements down the line on playback and picture quality :)

Same question, is there a way to verify the streaming quality?

My PS3 will quantify the video quality with the following:

Low/SD
Medium/SD
High/SD
Low/HD
Medium/HD
High/HD

(Press the triangle button and it appears in the top-left with other show info.)

I was watching some streaming TV shows on my PS3 and the Netflix app was reporting "High/HD" and the shows looked great.

Last night I tried the same shows on my Boxee (Core2Duo MacBook Pro) and the video quality was really bad- but I couldn't figure out how to display the quality to see what it was setting at.

Both the PS3 and my MBP are connected to my network via cat5.
