TV Show Sorting

First off I think what you guys have done here is amazing. I am currently using boxee on a mac mini running 10.4.11

Although I have a lot of movies originally formatted for the ATV, I have a ton of tv shows. So I'm having difficulty organizing all that content since boxee does not group Tv Seasons and then sort by episode number it is very hard to keep them all organized. I even tried putting all the episodes in its own folder. I stream from another computer wirelessly. If this is in the works great and if its already here any light you can shed would be great. My library was initially set up for iTunes which has my content in TvShows/(Name of Show/(file names) but then sorts using the tags.

our development does not stop inorder to make boxee more enjoyable...

can you try to format your files this way and tell me if it helped.

please note (S01 =season 1 ,E01 =episode1).

I have already begun to rename all my files to help with this sorting issue and yes it does help. I was under the impression this forum was for feature requests which is why I put it as a request. Aren't most feature requests to make your experience using boxee more enjoyable? The fact is that people now days using media center programs have both Movies and TV Shows and like to be able to watch them by show, season, and episode. If people are non tech and not aware of your naming conventions they may not understand those concepts. Isn't the goal of this to get as many people on it as possible?

Again I applaud the work you guys have done thus far already. If feature requests need to go in another place in this forum please let me know.

you are correct this is the area for feature requests ,the next versions will have seperated folders for movies/series and will make it easier for indexing..i was just aware that this naming format would help you ...enjoy boxee:)
