Have you tried the current version of XBMC for linux ? It is really slick, I have been impressed with where this project is going. Just download the latest source/compile and try it out!
I am keen to see what Boxee has done with it ?

Just watched the NY Video 2.0 and saw Gideon Coussin announce that the Linux version would be available within a week or two from the June 24th presentation.
It's looking excellent!

The packaged version will indeed be available soon, however, if you really really cant wait you can download and compile the sources from here (http://app.boxee.tv/download/source) at your own risk :)

I downloaded the source distribution, but the README appears to be the default one from XBMC and the build.sh file it mentions is not there. There is also no configure script for manual building. Does anyone know what to do to build Boxee from the source?

I just pulled down the latest source and untar'd it. Its missing the build script, the configure script to generate the Makefile ?
Can a dev look into this ?
Cheers
