Silverlight plugin not installed

Just got boxee and ran for first time. Got the silverlight plugin message when trying to get to my Netflix account.
Is this normal? what is silverlight?

Silverlight is Microsoft's Version of Flash. Netflix uses it to deploy their content. It's a competitor to Adobe Flash.

I already had i installed and didn't see that prompt. It's Normal!

Go to www.microsoft.com/silverlight and let it install Silverlight.
